N/A "Toby" Tobias (also known as the self-proclaimed Herald of Croissant Day*) is an animator from the foothills of Northern California, currently based in NYC.
Toby made the animated film Starmaker featured in the Stars 48 Hour Film Anthology in 2022, and is currently working on a surrealist, experimental animated short film called A Film About Hope or Something. Toby is also working on an absurdist comedy animated short with the working title A Murder (not so) Mystery.
Outside of animation, Toby has made comics, composed music, interned on the Research Vessel Sikuliaq off the coast of Alaska, and hand raised orphaned neonatal kittens.
For fun, Toby likes to try new things, watch the Animal Planet show River Monsters, and use a clipboard full of loose sheets of printer paper instead of a sketchbook.
